TV & Film Hire

Filming

The unit has gained much experience in this field either appearing as supporting artists, extras or technical advisers.

We can tailor a package to suit your budget and requirements. We can offer fully trained WWII German soldiers with their own museum quality uniforms and equipment, blank firing weaponry and numerous props. We can perform correct drill with commands given in German, have correct period haircuts and can provide advice. We can also arrange the hire of authentic vehicles including armour.

Left: Filming for BBC 60th Anniversary of D-Day.

We were used as supporting artists for the short film 'Mrs. Meitlemelhr' for London production company Rose-Hackney-Barber. This fictional black comedy has the unlikely scenario of Hitler escaping from the Berlin bunker (his corpse being a double) and then living in a London bedsit disguised as a woman several years later.

The unit has appeared as supporting artists in TV documentaries and dramas including 'For Valour', 'Battlefields', 'No Bananas', 'Decisive Weapons' and 'Lad's Army'.

Right: Filming for BBC 60th Anniversary of D-Day.
